This exclusive trip combines nature’s splendor with culinary excellence. It is the harvest season and we will provide the bounty and tastes of our region, prepared in our signature way, by campfire.

After a day of paddling through Missouri’s picturesque landscapes, unwind and connect with fellow adventurers while relaxing at camp on one of the river’s pristine islands. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season, surrounded by natural beauty and good company.

What are the dates for the Missouri River Fall Colors in 2025?

  • Saturday, October 18th - Sunday, October 19th

Who is this trip best for? - This trip is family friendly (must be at least 10 years old and have adult supervision) and best for anyone who enjoys paddling, unique outdoor experiences, camping, history, adventure and campfire fine dining!

Where and when does this trip start and end? - This trip starts 9 am on Saturday and ends around 4pm on Sunday. The meet-up location will be the BMA warehouse, centrally located in St. Louis City. Paddlers will be shuttled from the warehouse to the put-in location and from the takeout location back to the warehouse.

What is included in this trip? - We provide all necessary safety and paddling gear including life jackets, paddles, and dry bags. Our experienced river guides will be available to assist you for the duration of the trip,  and answer all of your questions. No need to worry about transportation as our crew will take care of shuttling you to and from the river. We’ll provide four meals plus snacks (lunch and dinner on Day One and breakfast and lunch on Day 2). We are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions. We will supply a cooler for any BYO beverages.

What do I need to bring? - Please make sure you bring the following items with you on your trip:

Required Gear:

  • Tent

  • Sleeping bag

  • Sleeping pad

  • Weather appropriate clothing (as many layers as you may need for comfort.)

  • River shoes/sandals with a backstrap, waterproof boots, or old sneakers that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet (NO FLIP FLOPS)

  • Reusable water bottle

  • Headlamp/flashlight

  • Hat

  • Sunscreen/bug spray

Suggested Gear:

  • Personal items: toiletries, medications, eyeglass/contacts, book,

  • Change of clothes for end of trip

  • Camera

  • Swimsuit and towel 

  • Dry bag or box for personal items

  • Any adult beverages you’d like to enjoy while camping

  • Cash to tip your awesome guides
