The French Corridor Expedition featuring Chef Josh Galliano
Embark on an unforgettable journey through the historic Middle Mississippi River Valley with Big Muddy Adventures Founder and Senior Guide, "Big Muddy" Mike Clark, and special guest guide, renowned Chef Josh Galliano. This unique expedition offers the perfect blend of history, nature, and exceptional cuisine.
The French Corridor Expedition takes you deep into the heart of the Mississippi River, following a historic route through the French settlements of Illinois Territory. Along this scenic path, you’ll explore the historic sites and river islands that were once home to French explorers and settlers in the 17th and 18th centuries. Learn about the pivotal role of river travel, food, and cultural exchange in shaping this region’s rich heritage.
But it’s not just about the sights—this journey is a feast for the senses! As you paddle down the mighty Mississippi, Chef Josh Galliano, a long-time friend of Big Muddy Adventures, will treat you to “campfire gourmet” meals, showcasing the finest local ingredients from this historic region.
