Will you sacrifice it to the flames? Or is it gonna be disassembled or used for future tours on the river? What will actually happen to the raft once you have reached New Orleans?

EIER Sat, 18 Jul 2009 03:22:07 +0000 http://2muddy.com/blog/?p=66#comment-91 My heart swells and throbs when I read about my brothers and sisters following the Creators life blood the rivers. I live in Lewiston, Idaho which is the gateway to HELLS CANYON. It is definitely a different kind of river system with class 2 to 5 rapids on the Snake, Salmon and Clearwater Rivers. I yearn to teach the next generation how to respect Mother Earth's life blood her water. This can only be done by putting them in a canoe and a paddle in their hands. I teach my children to put into the rivers of the west only what fits on the end of their paddle. Wambli Mike and Wambli John are the keepers of the Mighty Mississippi River paddling fraternity. I pray all of you will financially support their endeavors to bring our children to the Mighty Mississippi. Scott Mandrell will begin the final journey of LEWIS AND CLARK THEN AND NOW LINKING THE TRAIL TO AMERICA'S STUDENTS on September 4,2009. You too may join FIRST SQUAD-THE CORPS OF DISCOVERY on this epic adventure from St. Louis to Memphis. ANGELAS ARK will be leaving Piasa Creek the same as the JUNEBUG RAFT to follow the rivers. If you would like to live the life of 1809 in a flat boat, then let myself, Mike, John or Scott know. It is an adventure of a life time which you may become a part of for some of the trip. Also, my children, Matt and Kim Long, have been on some canoe trips with John Ruskey. "Daddy" Mike told me about the adventure you have undertaken with the German Discovery Channel, so I had to check it out for myself. I will pass the information on to Matt, as well. It looks like everyone is having a good time. Hopefully the German crew members are enjoying their experience on The Big Muddy, too. Alles Gute und Viel Glueck! (All the Best and Good Luck!)
